Creating truly sustainable products demands a meticulous approach at every stage of the production process. Sustainability is a guiding value for us in all our decisions, starting from the design phase. Our goal is to create products with the longest possible life cycle, and to achieve this, it is essential to begin with the design and development phase.

Our entire collection follows the principle of material separation, ensuring that different components can be easily dismantled and recycled at the end of their life cycle. We take great care to avoid adhesives when joining different materials, allowing for effortless disassembly. Our furniture is designed to be both durable and sustainable. For instance, our chair features carefully engineered joints, while our table incorporates HPL reinforcement bars, secured through a mechanical system that makes them fully removable. Similarly, our sofa is constructed with an interlocking and support system, ensuring it can be easily taken apart.

    Materials & Production

We prioritise natural materials with the highest level of traceability—especially solid wood, the essence of our collection. Solid wood is a noble materia and processed through a short supply chain, free from synthetic or chemical treatments until the final stages. For finishing, we use hard wax oils or water-based paints, significantly reducing chemical use compared to traditional solvent-based finishes. The fabrics covering our cushions are also free from dyes or chemical additives. Instead, they are coloured using solid pigments incorporated directly into the thread during manufacturing, reducing water consumption. Our fabrics are made from post-consumer recycled plastic combined with recovered industrial waste materials. Designed with circularity in mind, the final fabric is fully recyclable at the end of its life. To learn more, visit imNativ.
