Care and maintenance

    Wood

Proper care and maintenance of wooden furniture are essential to preserving its natural beauty and ensuring its long-lasting durability.

    Daily cleaning and stain protection

For everyday cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth or one slightly dampened with water to remove dust and surface dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals or detergents that could damage the finish.
Wood, particularly when oiled, tends to absorb liquids, so it's important to address spills immediately to prevent staining. Use coasters and placemats to protect your furniture from liquids and heat. If a stain occurs, gently dab with a cloth without rubbing to prevent spreading.

    Oiling Treatment

Over time, furniture with an oiled finish may require re-oiling to maintain its quality. To preserve the original colour, we recommend using only our specially formulated oil, available on the dedicated page.
Apply the oil with a soft cloth, evenly following the direction of the wood grain. Let it sit for a few hours, then remove any excess with a dry cloth.
Minor scratches can be easily repaired by applying a small amount of oil directly to the affected area and gently rubbing with a soft cloth. For deeper scratches, lightly sand the area with fine-grit sandpaper, following the grain of the wood, and then reapply the oil.

    Fabrics

Proper care and maintenance of fabric sofas and chairs are crucial for preserving their appearance and ensuring long-term durability.

    Daily cleaning and stain protection

For regular cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment or a dry cloth to remove dust and surface dirt. Avoid harsh detergents that could damage the fabric fibers.
If you have pets, consider using sofa covers or other protectors. In the event of a spill, immediately blot the area with a clean, absorbent cloth without rubbing, to prevent the stain from setting into the fabric. If necessary, use a gentle detergent specifically designed for fabrics.
